What better way to start a project than with a cup of coffee? There were two people asleep in the room when I took this shot, so I just used natural light. It's a hand-held 1s exposure, so it's a little blurry, but maybe I can blame the coffee.
Thanks for the help. I knew that the shutter was too slow for a hand-held shot. I was just having some fun while the rest of the family was sleeping in in my daughter's one-room apartment. I liked the shadow from the dim window light.

for clear images, I usually go with the following rule:
1/(lens length) + 1/2, ( more if i have been exerting myself or am using a macro)
So on a 35mm and wishing I was 30 again, groggy first thing I might try to start out at 1/50 second for still life.Or just drink the coffee first.
