Climbing Vines

We have a tree that is covered with vines this time of year. It looks quite interesting in the late afternoon light. I haven't quite captured it, yet.

Sounds an interesting subject. Does the tree mind? I remember finding one of ours with ivy on and I ripped it off as it was sucking the life out of the tree. Maybe vines don't have the same effect.
