@stephomy Here's some more very close up food. As a bonus, I'll give you a recipe for an easy breakfast.
Use a Mason jar to mix 1/2 cup of old-fashioned oats (or Irish style steel cut oats) with
1 cup of kefir or 1/2 cup of yogurt and 1/2 cup milk.
1 Tablespoon chia seeds
1 Tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
a pinch of salt
some raisins
Stir the mixture together, then put the lid on the jar tightly. Shake it vigorously. Then, put it in the fridge over night. It makes two servings to enjoy the next morining. Note that there is no cooking involved.
I never thought much about how much texture there is on oats.
Thanks for the recipe. I never have time to cook anything on the days I have to work the 3am shift. This is a cool idea. I'm going to set one up tonight.
