And he did.
I had to sneak through our bedroom to the doors opening to the front deck, carefully ease the camera through the curtains while staying behind the curtains myself and then quickly rip off a few shots before the noise spooked him and he took off.
We've been feeding a pair of these Pale Headed Rosellas on the front deck for at least 12 months and they still take off like startled rabbits as soon as they catch a glimpse of us. Grrrrrr
wow, you did so well here they are really easily spooked.

Pretty little bird beautifully captured Terry, I must show my ignorance here it looked like a pet Budgie or budgerigar to me, but what else would you expect from a Brit, lol:)

@tonydebont Well they are not uncommon Tony. They are at the very bottom of the bird pecking order so they will never compete for food or habitat with the lorikeets, parrots, cockatoos or other rosellas and hence will always be much fewer in number.

These are so pretty. We don't see them over our way. Perhaps the lorikeets rule this area.
