Happy New Year to everyone on 365. Hope your 2021 is better than 2020. Could it be worse?
Continuing my series on the passing of the years as evidenced by the growing up of grand daughter Maggie. As Topol sang
“Quickly fly the years;
One season following another;
Laden with happiness and tears . . . . “
And how things have changed. It has gone from a packet of Smarties and 2 or 3 shots to many shots across a number of separate sessions with much discussion after each session about the resulting photos.
Actually it was all my fault when I told her that many people comment on her wild hair and after that it got very serious..
My ongoing thanks to Denise @lyndemc for suggesting this series all those years ago.
Maggie!!!!! How you have grown since that first picture many years ago now. Thank you SO MUCH for being willing to pose for your Poppo (and us!) all these years. I look back through each link at your pictures and smile with each photo's changes. You, my dear, have the most amazing blue eyes!!
And thank you, Terry, for another in this precious series. So glad you've gotten the chance to photograph your granddaughter yet another year.
@pcoulson I had typed up a long winded story about the conversation that took place after my comment about the wild hair and the consequences of the comment all ready to go but deleted it at the last minute. In a nutshell, while she knew about the photos, she had no idea people actually saw them and commented on them. Her whole attitude changed.
She has asked now for me to tell her what people say LOL @lyndemc
How wonderful to see Maggie again! How she has grown into a little beauty! Her hair is gorgeous and she has lovely eyes! A lovely series over the years!
oh Maggie - you are beautiful. Luckily didn't inherit your Poppo's looks!!! This is a fantastic series and after looking back on them all - those bright eyes peering over the desk to this beautiful girl now. Well done on continuing this series - really think it needs a collage to see them all together :)
Holy cow!!! She has grown so much! What a great shot. Fortunately it appears she was blessed with Nanna's looks and not yours. Great to see you back in business again!
