I have been trying to hang in here, totally lacking in ideas and phojo until 14 April when we were going to head off on a 4 week, 11,000km drive through Western Queensland and the Northern Territory including Uluru, Kata Tjuta, Nitmiluk, Kings Canyon and Kakadu. Had lots of ideas and new things to try.
No need to tell Oz 365ers that the whole thing has now gone pear shaped with our Covid outbreak and the closure of the NT border to Qlders.
So postings will now be intermittent while I sulk away in the corner.
Buggar!!!!!
And all the UK 365ers say "Oh Poor Poppo. Cry me a river"
Oh no what a shame about your trip! So disappointing for you! Keeping everything crossed we can get away in May to Devon - not as exciting as your proposed trip but it will be lovely if we can see our family. I hope you can reschedule your trip!
Superb light and detail Terry, I know how you feel we where coming to the fly drive the east coast of Australia this year starting in Sydney and departing from Cairns may have to wait another year or two:)
Sorry about your trip, I know the feeling of disappointment. I'm not booking anything ever again after a year of cancelled bookings! Well, ok, I might, ... some day!!!
@merrelyn Last year we were supposed to be visit our daughter and family in London (2 years now since we have seen them) as well as a number of drives around England and Scotland and a 2 week tour of Norway. :-(
Just checking your photos and found this one - looks like the same moon as I posted!!! Hope your travel plans are back on the agenda now that Brisbane is coming out of lock down.
And yes, the trip is back on. We are very flexible. Just as well we didn't cancel anything
