Rolleston, Springsure, Emerald and Capella are all towns in the Central Highlands Regional Council with Emerald (population 14,000) being the only town of any size.
At the approaches to each of the towns in this council region are these signs made of some sort of steel and depicting the industry and activities of the town. They are brilliant and once again display the civic pride that exists in these small towns.
