Day 12 - Kata Tjuta

About 8kms from Kata Tjuta is a raised viewing platform that gives an excellent view Kata Tjuta and the surrounding dunes.

In the dialect of the local indigenous Pitjantjatjara people, Kata Tjuta means ‘many heads’. I wonder why they called it that.
