I just hope you are good at treading water until help arrives. Yep Vivie is a Nipper also but in the 6yo squad.
Sunday morning is the big day for the Mooloolaba Nippers when they all collect at beach in their various age groups for 1.5 hrs for the 5-7 year olds and 2.5 hrs for the 8-14 year olds. There would have been a couple of hundred of them all going through a circuit of disciplines.
For the littlies, Nippers is one and a half hours of organised fun and activities around the surf that basically prepares them for more advanced training as they get older.
In this activity, they had to sprint through a "ladder"on the ground (that's lots of little steps as they step between the rungs) sprint into the water, dive through a hoop into the water and then sprint back up the beach to the start line.
