When All Else Fails

The garden will be one of the emergency reserves for my photos for the next 358 days. This is a Bromeliad, VRIESEA "Black Beauty" to be precise. I have a few broms spread around the garden . . .errrr. . . actually I have a lot. Uhhmmm make that a bloody lot. I'm sure others will be featured throughout the year.
LOL... "a bloody lot" ! This is sure a beautiful shot. Is that water there in the middle?

Makes for a great pattern shot. Great shapes and nice color.

@lyndemc Yes that's water. In their natural state, most broms are epiphytic ie they live in trees and rely on catching rain in their central wells to supply the water for their survival. Remember Sean Connery in Medicine Man up in the trees collecting specimens from the broms??
