La La le la la

Took the old camera with just a little lens to old farts golf day today expecting to get a couple of pics of our group but once again, the wildlife took precedence. I stalked this Large Egret trying to get close to it but with just a small lens it was impossible and it took off. Click click and here it is at take off. I know that technically this is a pretty poor photo but I just had to show it simply for the laugh factor. I think it is hilarious.

Wow ... what a dramatic pose, and proof one should always have a camera with oneself at all times. Well done.

Great capture, hard to decide if it was awkward and nearly fell over or graceful and about to take off. All wings and legs.

Looks like it's been to the 19th hole already :)

Well, I'd have to second Denise's comment - he most definitely is at a rather awkward angle - that's one gangly bird! Definitely glad you included him today.

The title you've given this photo is perfect! This Egret does appear to be dancing with great exuberance. See any Roos?

That undefinable image I posted the other day (Iced Over) is of a leaf encased in ice against pavement along with a sundry of other tree bits and parts. Hey, I was desperate for a photo since the grey squirrel against the gray sky didn't show up all that impressively. :)

I really had a laugh at this capture. I am convinced our feathered friends sense the camera secreted away :-)

@gigiflower @landownunder @harbinger @tracelee @richardhoeg @moxy @tonydebont @gilbertwood @milaniet @lyndemc @hermann @j44 Thank you everyone and I am glad you found it as funny as I did. He actually reminded me of some thing and I finally worked out what it was - Snoopy when he was very happy and dancing.
@lyndemc No roos here Lyndemc. This is back at my home course and there are no roos here although it is no more than about 5ks from the other course with the roos.
@tonydebont No Tony he was just taking off
