After being missing from the back yard for quite a few months, our very tame white cockatoo suddenly made an appearance this afternoon.
He just flew in with the rest of the flock for a feed and then took up his position on the back wall, gave a couple of quiet squawks and then waited for me to come and talk to him.
We had a chat, I took a few pics and then off he flew again. Hopefully he is around for a while.

@gigiflower Yes and no. Yes he will eat out of my hand - readily. But I usually put the seed into a small container like a sugar scoop and then hold that. Not that I don't trust him and his beak or anything . . . . . .
He is one handsome bird! How fabulous that he'll let you approach so close - that's amazing. Guess he knows a friend when he sees one. I love the details you've shown - never seen one up close.
