There is a particular shot of the city from Mt Cootha that I have been trying to get for three months now but every month, I have been screwed by clouds. My last unsuccessful attempt was a few days ago.
As I was about to pack up in disgust, I just happened to notice the that the only place the sun was shining was on the city itself so I quickly grabbed a couple of shots - and then it was gone. Even when I got home I was still too cranky and didn't take much notice of it. But a couple of days later when I was going through the shots in the calm light of day (no pun intended), the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.

A cityscape catches the eye anyway with its towering features but this view really commands notice what with the heavenly spotlight shining down on it. I take it tho there's still a particular picture you're after from this vantage point. Fav for the one you got here, for now.
