It never ceases to amaze me how a bird that looks so utterly awkward on land can be so graceful in flight.
These two pelicans skimmed just a few cms above the water for what seemed like ages before, just after I took this shot, one of them decided to land while the other on kept on going.
My apologies for lack of comment at present. We are away from home visiting granddaughters in Sydney and have very little time to ourselves
