Hawks Nest Sunrise

I took my camera down to the surf beach early hoping for a good sunrise but in keeping with tradition for me, nothing eventuated.
However there was just enough mist/spray/dust/fog/smoke in the atmosphere to make the sun very easy to look at. I was then wishing I had taken Nanna's little camera with the 50x zoom so I could have got a close in shot of the sun to match the one of the moon from a few nights ago.
