Mmmm!! Water Melon

I nearly stepped on this blue tongue lizard the other day as I was walking up our back steps. Quickly got him some water melon for a snack. They love cold water melon on a hot day

You have now got a friend for life. We had a blue tongue who was born in our garden and hibernated under our wood shed in winter and dropped numerous young in the garden each year for 14 years. Unfortunately, she didn't turn up this year so I suspect she has gone to that great paddock in the sky.
