A few months ago after our trip to Queen Mary Falls, I said I was going to get the King Parrots that visit our place to feed out of my hand. It's now gone well beyond that.
I just love this Terry!! What a wonderful look on Maggie's face - how great is that to have a parrot eating out of your hand!! She will always remember this!! Well done on the training - do you talk to the animals as well Dr Dolittle? Fav!
@hermann Our current group consists of this fellow, a smaller younger male, a juvenile male and at least one female. There may be two females - a bit hard to tell.
How fantastic!! To think this is a wild bird that trust you enough to perch on your hand and eat. Lucky little Maggie, getting to grow up with this as a part of her life. I'm so envious! Super picture of the event.
