Deuterocohnia Brevifolia

This bromeliad, Deuterocohnia Brevifolia, is actually hundreds of very small individual broms. It is a native of Argentina and Bolivia and is very slow growing. This specimen would be many years old. Unfortunately, it is not mine.
At the other end of the size scale from the broms that Joanna @joannakate has been posting recently

Absolutely stunning, definitely green with envy.. We have one but ours is a sorry state compared to this. Lots of people we know cannot get a decent plant growing. Your photo does this plant justice, thanks Terry
