I don't know whether I am pleased or disappointed with this shot taken at Snapper Rocks early this morning.
Pleased because:
. It is of 2012 World Surfing champion (and runner up in 4 other years), Joel Parkinson;
. It was very early in the morning;
. There was quite a heavy cloud cover giving poor light;
. The light was behind him.
Disappointed because I think it should have been better. Sigh!!!!
Snapper Rocks is Parko's home break.
I hate that feeling, when your happy you got the shot but you know it could have been better! Positives....it's a fun action shot and the focus is good!!
Chin up Terry. Every one of us have pics we know should have been better. It's what keeps us going on, chasing that perfect capture. It's still a great action shot. (White balance?) ;)
Great action shot capturing all the drama and movement, how many times do we think we have the perfect shot until we have viewed it back home, I must say I would be very happy with this one Terry:)
This is wonderful Terry even though you are disappointed. Sometimes you just have to capture what you have and just hope and pray that next time that magical light will come out to play. My shots today I had to use ISO 6400 which of course made the shots noisy and a bit soft. Tomorrow is another day - fingers crossed for the perfect light! Fav!
