Grommets on the Charge by terryliv

Grommets on the Charge

Down at Rainbow Bay in the late afternoon and these grommets were in a hurry to get out and catch the last waves before dark.
In case you don't know, Grommets are young inexperienced surfers (although I saw in Wikipedia that it is now the term used for young participants in other sports also).
Great light..

This to me is more than surfing--summer, youth, fun, surroundings--the stuff of memories.

Wonderful sunlight in this shot Terry. I had no idea they were called grommets - I thought they were the things that went in your ears after repeated infections! LOL

Another great candid shot Terry love the golden almost mystical hue and composition, every days a school day, I always thought a Grommet in Australia was a young/ junior life guard in yellow and orange:)
