Birds Nest Ferns by terryliv

Birds Nest Ferns

Birds (or Crows) Nest Fern Asplenium australasicum is a large epiphytic fern that normally grows in the branches of rain forest trees. These two were a good 20mtrs off the ground. It is from the same family as the delicate maidenhair fern.
A lovely capture. They kind of have an X-ray feel.
