Paper Wasp Sleeping

Not your normal insect capture I know.
Lots of paper wasps were injured in the making of this photo.

Bloody awful things they are. David got stung twice by one of these things a while ago. Of course, the pain was excruciating. My sister in law also was stung by one in Brisbane and ended up in hospital.

I wonder I should apply a sleeping draught to the paper wasp nests on my fence. It would make them much easier to photograph :)
