But Why Kamloops????

Day 19 - Mt Isa, Gulf Country, NWQ

Being the mapaholic that I am, I always love reading these signs that you see at various places. But this one at the city lookout really intrigued me. Sydney yes; New York yes; London yes; Hong Kong yes; Vancouver yes; but Kamloops?

I've been to Kamloops and in my humble opinion, it doesn't quite stack up with these other cities. I may be wrong and apologies to anyone from Kamloops but . . . . . .

Maybe the person who built the thing came from there or something.

Great shot of this sign. I have never heard of Kamloops before so had to resort to Google to find out where it is. Does not sound like the air quality there is very good att he moment from the fires in the area.

We stopped off for the night in Kamloops when on the Rocky Mountaineer Train . Not a place to revisit .I can't imagine why it features in the post!!
