Cocky Gets a Dressing Down

The cockatoos have been coming into our back yard for quite a few years and up until a couple of weeks ago, their behaviour has been impeccable.

However, this one which just happens to be the quietest/boldest of them all, has suddenly developed a real mischievous streak and has been getting into lots of trouble.
But he really blew it today. When I got home from golf, I discovered he had got into my favourite bromeliads and thrown 5 of them, pot and all, off their shelf onto the ground. Among the casualties was Rhoda favourite.
This shot was taken a couple of weeks ago after one of his indiscretions. Certainly not after todays antics.

We are heading off on Thursday for 7 weeks so God knows what he will get up to while we are away.
