Getting Your Feet Wet

Day 11: Zion National Park, Utah

After a walk of about 3km, the River Walk crosses the Virgin River on its way up to the geological feature called The Narrows and it is decision time - keep going and get your feet, shoes (and trousers) wet or go back. We were running out of time so we went back.
Great photo. Like that you got the human interest in the otherwise still beautiful shot.

The tour went back, or just you? I'd be so bummed! I'd definitely want to wade it.

This Narrows hike is awesome! We did this about four years ago and were waist-deep in water most of the time, holding our cameras over our heads to keep them dry!

@janeandcharlie No we were on our own Jane. We were left to our own devices and had 4 hours to explore whatever part of the park we wished. We made the mistake of heading up the Emerald Waters track first which was OK but it left us short on time to go further into The Narrows later on. Add to that Rhoda's dicky heart meant she ran out of gas on the River Walk and I did the last bit on my own.
