Congestion at the River Crossing

Day 11: Zion National Park, Utah

Congregation of people at the water crossing on the River Walk.

One of the annoying things about Zion was how busy it was in the park and on the walks. We were there mid week, not in school hols and out of the peak tourist season and yet there was still a constant stream of people on both of the walks we went on.

There were also significant delays on the road into the park. Apparently it is really bad in peak season.
Great capture

That is a lot of people in off-peak time.
I did find the same for Litchfield National Park when I was there last. So many people that it was very difficult to get any photographs without people. I have heard the same said of Europe tourist spots.
