I've never heard of these 'till a few weeks ago and I'm really confused Poppo. Google tells me its not an owl, although I'm not sure what it takes to qualify to be an owl....anyway, I like these feathered things

I was going to reply to you and say that I thought they were from the Nightjar family but decided to check it out first. Found out that the Frogmouth is its own bird family but that it is closely related to the Nightjars. So there you go.
