Roma is known for the plantings of Queensland Bottle Trees throughout the town. It is hard to find a street in Roma that isn't lined with them and they are quite beautiful.
And that was the end of the photos. With the scent of home in our nostrils, the camera didn't come out again until we unpacked the car at home (thank God for that I hear you say).
I hope you have enjoyed your 10,984km journey through Western Queensland, The Outback, The Red Centre and The Top End. It has certainly taken me much longer to get through these postings than I ever imagined.
We love road trips and especially travelling out west and already have itchy feet and wondering where to go next.
