This is Paul, the Chief Engineer on the project who gave me access to the site to take the shots. He wasn't going to let me until I told him I had been at the Governor's swearing in on Tuesday but he insisted that: (i) I take his pic also (ii) the pics go on 365 tonight; (iii) He be included in the shots (iv) he get paid royalties for any comments and favourites.
So don't comment on this and no favs.
And don't say anything nasty about him either as I am sending him the link to this page for his approval. :-)

OK. I have to confess. Some of what I wrote was slightly exaggerated. Paul is actually a 69 year old ex electrician who lives at Graceville - one of the suburbs hit badly in the 2011 Brisbane floods. He was doing traffic control (stop/go man) in order to help recover from the floods and get everything back in order. He was saying that he took on one of the insurance companies over his rejected flood insurance claim and won. Just goes to show that we should never stereotype people - in this case stop/go people. Paul was also saying that he had been on the Legacy Way tunnel project for quite some time and while the job itself was boring as crap, it had been very interesting to see the whole thing take shape.
