Yep - I'm a Blue Tongue

Shinglebacks are slow moving and are the bulkiest of the blue tongue lizards which are part of the skink family. They are common on the plains west of the Great Dividing Range where rainfall is low and throughout the semi-arid habitats of inland Australia.
