Not Another Moon

I am sure everyone will be posting their pics of the moon tonight so here is my attempt. Not a cloud in sight Sam @gigiflower

@terryliv Nikon 70-200mm 2.8g II...........and that photo is SOOC except for cropping!

@terryliv Also check our my shutter speed - I was taking 1/1000 so super fast. Using tripod.

@gigiflower I was using a tripod also and a 70-300 lens that I was given many years ago. I am going to take another shot tonight using the same settings that you used but I am pretty sure I know the answer. I think it will give a very clear (pardon the pun) example of the value of a good quality lens over a cheap and nasty one. See what happens tonight.
