Day 6 - Munurru Camp by terryliv

Day 6 - Munurru Camp

Of course while we were relaxing in the river after a hard day of sitting on our backsides , our two tour leaders were hard at it.
Husband and wife, Ben and Kim did all the work to make the whole tour easy on us. After driving for something like 9 hours a day, Ben then had to set up the camp and dismantle and repack it each morning. He was also responsible for the overall organisation of the tour and generally looking after a mob of grumpy old farts.
Kim did all the detailed administration and, most importantly, the cooking. Every day, we were provided with three meals as well as morning and afternoon tea. And the food was great to the point of almost being OTT.
The two of them well and truly earned their pay. The whole tour goes pear shaped if they fumble the ball (a few mixed metaphors there).

See the background to this series of postings on the Kimberley at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-08

They look like they are working really hard. Did you have to help with the washing up?

Great collection of images Terry, lots of sharp detail and colour, each tells a story from your trip, Kim and Ben working hard whilst you all rested:)
