This particular rocky outcrop that was home to all of the rock art also housed an example of the burial process of the local indigenous people. This small crevice held the remains of a number of deaths.
The process of cremation and burial was explained to us and I am sorry that I can't remember it - it's an age thing. All that I can recall is that it was a multi stage process that involved shifting the remains one or two times as they went on to the next part of the process.
