A couple of hundred kms from where we had morning tea and it was time for lunch.
If this looks familiar, the Cockburn Range featured strongly in the movie "Australia". But then again you may have been like us and turned it off in disgust before it got to this shot. Bloody terrible movie.
I actually took a series of 5 shots so I could stitch them to form a panorama but apparently I didn't overlap them enough and it cant be done. Buggar!!
Quite the vista, but missed the movie. I guess that's a good thing. Terry is there a chance you could post a photo of a map showing your route so those from away have a clue where you're going?
Wonderful landscape!! I didn't see the film and it sounds like I didn't miss much!! Shame about the pano!! The map Martin @mjalkotzy has suggested would be great.
@mjalkotzy@pamknowler I would love to. I've thought about doing that a few times but I'm a Mapaholic and I wasn't sure that others would feel the same need. Certainly Google Maps is completely devoid of info on the region.
