Day 15 - NT Border by terryliv

Day 15 - NT Border

After about 450kms and being on the road for 8 hours (including the time at Wolfe Creek) we reached the Northern Territory border. Obviously the locals have a bit more respect for NT than they have for WA.
I think the sign bottom left says it all and there had certainly been no fuel since we left Halls Creek.
The dust cloud in the bottom right shot is from a vehicle ahead of us.
I love road shots.
Don't bother to comment - just telling a story.

We have now left the map at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-07 showing our tour up to the start of Day 15.

How scary if you broke down or ran out of fuel while travelling along this road!

Some dubious graffiti there! I guess there weren't many toilet stops out there either.

Interesting greeting as you enter WA. Gives "Down Under" a whole different meaning.
