Day 16 - The Mad Kiwi Geocacher

This guy was a professor of something from New Zealand and was combining the Kimberley tour with his hobby of geocaching. He was a real character - very extroverted, usually very funny, sometimes a pain in the A but always full of life.
Don't bother to comment - just telling a story.

We have now left the map at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-07 showing our tour up to the start of Day 15.

See the background to this series of postings on the Kimberley at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-08
He sounds like quite the interesting mix of personality traits

Hee hee--can you believe I know a young man born and reared here (actually in a rural, rodeo area) who is a university professor in Auckland? And that his expertise is ancient world history and literature, and he's invited all over the world to give seminars--England, Rome, France, etc., and Harvard Press is publishing his book. Perhaps this man is his colleague.

Nice shot. It sure tells a story. Love the background of the open vastness of the outback.

Haha, he looks a lot of fun. I really need to look into this geocaching thing. I am hearing all about it on 365.
