Our last night on the road was at the camp site at Tilmouth Well (try finding that on a map).
The mad Kiwi professor had managed to drum up enough enthusiasm for a duel to the death between the Aussies and the Kiwis to see who could erect and dismantle a tent in the fastest time.
Of course the Kiwis insisted on doing the Haka before the start of the competition and since we had nothing to compete with that, we had to rely on our glamorous cheer squad - complete with tassels in strategic places. (You just knew this was going to be a bad night.)
This kiwi has to comment. Who won? A) the Haka or the cheer squad B) the tent competition. Sounds like a typical kiwi vs Aussie challenge and a good story.
