Tasman Glacier

Looking down the Tasman Glacier in the Southern Alps, New Zealand. Taken during a three week tour of the South Island in 2007

A while ago, I was going through a lot of my old photos (nothing to do with 365) and I was struck by two things:
I. How good some of them were - all things considered, and
ii How bad MOST of them were when at the time, I thought they were pretty good.
So I thought I would post some of the better (in my opinion) ones in my Archives album.
Hope you enjoy these oldies
Well this one is pretty darn good ... though I don't think there would be this much snow around at the moment... haven't been up on Tasman but have been on Franz Joseph.. it is an amazing experience...

Well this one is pretty impressive! Steve has spent much of the winter scanning old transparencies that go back 30+ years, we thought they were really great at the time but now ...

So true when looking back on old photos - some inspired, some truly terrible. But this is one of the goodies.
