Looking across Lake Powell to Tower Butte. There was an optional helicopter flight available the next day that landed on the top of Tower Butte. After much gnashing of teeth, we opted for a different excursion which turned out to be a good decision as the weather was bad the next day and the flight cancelled.
We had two nights at the resort at Lake Powell which was formed by the damming of the Colorado River at Glen Canyon.
