First, I fell behind... there's a lot going on in my personal life and the group has been super kind to allow me to upload photos that were around my upload date and off theme, or important to my life, which I'm extremely grateful for.
I'd started working on this over a year ago thinking that I would create a series of vanitas on the seven deadly sins, each containing a skeletal part from the "same body", and symbols relating to that sin. I found this cranium on Bone Clones ( https://boneclones.com/product/human-female-skull-syphilis-BCH-808 ) . I'd put it down for over a year when things in my life started to get chaotic and confusing--and numb. It was finally finished with a viper added to the composition over the summer.
This one will be a part of my portfolio review for entrance into the fine art program at the university I'm currently attending.
