ready to rock ...

I mean cook!
I still have some perishable ingredients to buy but I'm pretty much ready to start cooking.
I always cook entirely new recipes each Christmas and have had a lovely month or so researching, thinking, listing, discarding, combining and then shopping for the ingredients. Here are a few ingredients waiting to be magically converted into meals.

I will be spending 2 - 3 days cooking, and promise to try and get some photos - the bananas are ripening to make fresh ice cream which will be one of the selections to put on the buckwheat pancakes for breakfast to start the day off :)
