Acorns

Found these in my sport coat pocket at church today...remembered I picked them up while visiting our family in NC. Hope to plant them and see what becomes of the oak tree they grow.

Quite pretty - nice and shiny. But beware, you'll be raking leaves in April! Forgot that about oak trees when we planted one.

@milaniet Thanks Milanie! Oh, I am aware of "leaf raking"! We have a large Live Oak in the back yard and two Willow Oaks in the side and front! Lots of leaves!!
