Fall leaves 7

These are oak leaves, but not sure why they are speckled!

They are called "age spots". Nice capture. They do look rather pretty!

They do look more like what I'm finding now - seem to be quite common on the oaks here.

@nydelignorsk I love "Living's" explanation of the spots. hahaha
I've seen those spots here too, but mostly on maple trees. They say it's caused by a fungus, which does not harm the tree, just shows as spots on the leaves.
