I like the brick foundation against the peeling paint off the wood.

The size of the mill from your previous picture and this building with it's beautiful arch over the doorway, makes me think that at one time this was a very busy and prosperous mill. Do you know when and why it closed down Gary?

@stephanies It was indeed very prosperous and hired lots of folks to work there. In fact, surrounding this building is a "mill village", several blocks of home built by the mill for it's employees! They had to pay rent, of course, but also got a long lasting job. I'm not sure when it went out of operation, but foreign textiles became cheaper and more abundant, putting them out of business.
