Yikes!!!
Less than a week has passed since I took a photo of the Magnolia bud and this is its state now! Life got busy and I missed the bloom, the smell, the photo! Gives new meaning to "slow down and smell the 'Magnolias"!

What a shame, sorry you missed it. I like how that one petal is left and is curled around like that. Kind of looks a little sad in a way.
