This is an old Crepe Myrtle bush that has not bloomed in years, but this year...it is full of color. This is a macro of the center.

How wonderful. It must like the tropical heat and rain we've been getting. (I assume you're getting the same type of weather where you are.) I admit, I've never looked at one this closely. Nice details.
