Hay ready for the barn...

Cutting hay this week. Liked how these two bales lined up with the old building in the background.

Lovely rural scene. Something about a hay bale that is so appealing.

Over here, the drought and hot weather has been so bad that farmers are already feeding their winter fodder to the livestock and the lambs are not fattening up properly with no fresh young grass to nibble on. No end to the heatwave yet.

I like to see the bales of hay. They always catch my eye when I drive by them in a field.
