Because we have so many...

Almost 30 years ago I bought 400 Virginia Pine Tree seedlings from our Forestry service for $20! I planted over 300 of them on three sides around our house (east, north, west...leaving the south open). Most of them grew, some have fallen, but more grew in their place! Needless to say, we have lots of small pine cones just waiting for the "Photo Opportunity"!
bargain!!!

How wonderful to have planted the seedlings 30 years ago and to see the results of your labor each day! Are they tall? Would love to see a photo of your trees (or some of them.) I like their long needles and the nice bokeh of this photo.

@365karly1 Thank you! It is wonderful to have the benefit of the trees. They provide a great "wind break" and sound barrier. Our home sits in the middle of a relatively "flat" 40 acres, most of which is planted in hay, so no other barriers.
