I am pretty comfortable speaking to folks when I see them. (It's what you do in the South, USA, so most folks speak back!) I saw this gentleman sitting on his front porch while I was walking in his neighborhood taking photos of Azaleas. I asked permission to photograph his house, then ask if I could photograph him. "Sure!" was his reply. He grabbed his coffee cup and pretended to drink from him..."Gotta look like I'm having a good time out here!". This was his response when he put down the cup! We talked for half an hour!!
I love chatting to people too. Us Lancashire folk have always been known for our friendliness & chat but I have noticed since we have had a lot of new houses built in our area you can tell the come in ones....not a smile & time of day comment from any of them! They don’t know what they are missing....hope they mend their ways..🤣🤣🤣🤣
