This is a city park close to where I live. The house is from Civil War times! It used to be open for parties, but is now closed.

What a lovely photo and house! It gives me a "southern" US feeling. Not only because of the blue sky... So I looked up where you lived. We have traveled through Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, but not made it to Alabama. Think the building style in that area and era is very similar.
